Thank God for the rain to wash the trash off the sidewalk.
Wednesday’s forecast is bright and sunny, but Tuesday night a real rain will come and wash this scum off the streets. Back before Robert DeNiro was doing awful films like Meet The Parents and Jodie Foster was still hot because she hadn’t turned 13 yet, there was Taxi Driver.
I think someone should just take this city and just… just flush it down the fuckin’ toilet.
As integral to the film as DeNiro, Scorsese, Cybil Shepherd, Harvey Keitel, and Jodie Foster are, equally important are the A11 Checker Cab that Travis Bickle pushes through the streets of a New York City that hasn’t existed since the ’70s.
I used to have a pony, on Coney Island. It got hit by a truck.
How’s everything in the pimp business?
Personnel Officer: How’s your driving record? Clean?
Travis Bickle: It’s clean, real clean. Like my conscience.
I got some bad ideas in my head.
If you’re thinking of that movie with Queen Latifah, then you should probably defenestrate yourself. If you’re not, we’ll see you at Otto’s!

Even the Lost Soul Entertainment checker will be there!
Shit…I’m waiting for the sun to shine.
