Rich was such an amazing person. Not only did I have the honor of having him as a friend, I had the double honor of having him as my brother. He was my rock and protector growing up, and such a pillar of strength for me when our parents died. The pain of their loss doesn’t compare to the hole left in my heart with his loss. I miss his friendship, our “inside jokes,” most of all I just miss him. Thank you for the beautiful tribute to someone who was such a part of me.

Thank you so much for sending this sweet note. Connecting with people who made, are in, or are connected personally with the films is why i do these screening. It was wonderful to not only share the story on the website, but even more so to watch the film with the filmmaker and Rich’s friends in Brooklyn over a few beers. There were no dry eyes…but so many smiles! sending lots of love to you and all his family and friends.
